sorry to hear about that - very nice looking Z. Hard choice... if you got it into 3' of water you've got some serious water damage. Carpet and seats will be subject to mold, speakers are shot and stereo, possibly ECU, window motors, basically anything not designed to be dropped into a bucket of water could be a problem. I'm not saying you can't salvage the car, but if it were me and I had good insurance I'd talk to the insurance company about totaling the car and then buying it back for parts. Might be ahead to find a new Z and start over... If you submit the claim they will probably total it anyway. If you decide to reclaim it I'd take it to a Z shop and have them tear it down and build it up from scratch replacing all the water damaged electronics and upholstery etc. It needs to be a complete clean up - draining gas tank, differential, checking out the ECU... big project. good luck
